What I am Working On Additional Song For my additional song, I chose to learn Don't Look Back in Anger  by Oasis. In Mark Agnesi's last Guitar of the Day, this past *Straturday, he played three songs. He played Rude Mood  by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Soul to Squeeze  by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he ended his 734 episode legacy with the song Don't Look Back in Anger  by Oasis. I felt that his final song was a great choice because the lyrics symbolized the end of his era at Norman's Rare Guitars. Since it was the last song he played at Norman's Rare Guitars, I decided to learn Don't Look Back in Anger  by Oasis. Hello everyone, and welcome to the best time of the week: Midweek Check-in time! This post will be as minimal words as possible since I want the emphasis to be my progress, not my writing. Enjoy!😃 Additional Song of the Week While I have enjoyed learning Stairway to Heaven  very much, I personally find it a bit boring to just work on one piece of music at a time. In addition to my weekly progress on Stairway to Heaven, I will learn a small part of another, (mostly) unrelated song. Kashmir To keep my playing in the realm of Led Zeppelin, I decided to learn the main riff of Kashmir . For any of you guys who don't recognize the name of the tune, it was Chase Utley's walk-up song for the majority of his career. One interesting thing about Kashmir  is its tuning. Week 2 Check-in Barre Chords This has been an incredible week in my guitar journey involving many improvements since the Midweek Check-in! As you just saw in the Midweek post, I was nowhere near sounding like Jimmy Page whatsoever. I must admit, my playing was pretty rough to listen to. I noticed that throughout my playing at the beginning of the week, I struggled the most with my barre chords and my hybrid picking.
